I was just wondering if anyone would play
War-hammer 40k or Fantasy War-hammer. If you do i was wondering if anyone has any tips on "converting" models and painting them. Also other things like where you play, what army you use and your army list.wave

aww yeah, WH40K ~ the Tao is my favorite race, they have that blend from high tech mech-suits to good old spear-chuckin' Kroots

I recall being all into it, getting the kits, putting them together (my way ~ not like the picture on the box) painting them with primer and using those "hair-brushes" with the colored paint (yes it was expensive) sometimes I would use a magnifying glass to do the detail... I've only played a few "roll" games but being a star craft fan, I got into playing Soul Storm on the PC while I waited for SC2 to be released.

So what do you mean by converting the models?

have you tried referencing http://www.games-workshop.com/gws ?

I accidentally downloaded a warhammer figure painting tutorial in my frenzy of downloading other painting tutorials. I myself have never had the chance to paint a figure but I sat in awe and watched this guy explain his process for over 50 minutes. The name of the video is "P3 Painting" I believe it is by gnomon workshop but I'm not to sure, but does cover laying in flats to dry brushing your figurine. Sounds like it's what your looking for.
