So I just downloaded and installed Ubuntu and I will attempt to learn how to code within a Linux system.
First, I want to say that I completely clueless with what I am doing. I know there is the Terminal to edit with so I will start with that and see how far I can get it with it in a week.
Does anyone else run Ubuntu and want to give any tips?

^ right on - get your Linux on...
so many flavors, lately I've been learning me some
"Ice Cream Sandwich" since I've been tricking out my
lenovo s10-3t to dual boot win7 and android-x86
android-x86 is linux-based, just like Ubuntu and both are open source
~for freEEE!
learning the commands for the terminal and the lingo/jargon
will help. instead of administrator it's root user or super user
so stuff like that will take some getting used to.
what are you planning to code?

Yeah, I love how it is both free and Open Source.
I'm not quite exactly sure what I'm going to code in the long stretch. I'm going to start with the Interface of the Desktop first though.
