Japanese researchers from Waseda University have teamed up with robot manufacturer "TMSUK" to develop a humanoid robot that uses its entire body to express a variety of emotions.

KOBIAN is a humanoid robot that is able to walk about and interact with humans like other robots. What makes KOBIAN different is that it can use its entire body and its facial expressions to display a variety of emotions.



as of MAY 2009 KOBIAN was able to:

2. Talk
3. Hear
4. Wobble
5. Shake hands
6. Show delight
7. Show surprise
8. Show sadness
9. Show dislike

Doesn't that make you wonder about a robot able to:
