Intro
Have you ever started a project, told everyone about it then stopped half way because you lost all hope/inspiration? Have you ever just stopped a project because gathering stupid resources was just too hard? Well here's the solution! Presenting Default 0.5!!!11!!!1!!
Default 0.5?
What do I mean by Default 0.5 you say?hehe idiots Well, instead of trawling through the internet for hours at a time looking for a nice resource (or making one yourself), I'm using the default resources that came with RMXP (OMG BLASPHEMY!). This makes things much easier. Why 0.5 then? The 0.5 is there for the custom scripts, brains, title screen and you died screen I'm putting into the thing. Another thing that separates Default from all other projects is that fact that no planning is involved. If one night I feel like putting a dragon battle in, I put it in. If one day I feel like making the character loose half his brain, he looses half his brain. Then the next day/night I just work with it. So I make as I go.
I'm also working slowly on this (on average 40mins a night, some days I do 2 hours then nothing the next) so that I don't run out of steam.

Finished amout: don't know.
When I plan to finish: lol you asking me? (sometime next year).
Scripts used so far:
Ccoa's UMS (for it's unrivaled messaging powez lolwut)
Style: Not serious
Play: You will play as a different character for a different "chapter" of the story. Mostly the code-named "Alex".
Story so far
The story starts in the frigid north. Probably a first.

lol, i tried this wen i was new to RPG Maker. I loved it! I'd add comentary if u had a story n screenshots. So is it Modern or Medieval?

Haha! I actually have a completed project that is about 3 hours or so that I did in the same whimsical spirit. (Actually it isn't really done because I started working on a New Game+ mode that I never finished) It was fun, but had its own difficulties that go with unplanned, inspirational production. Don't try to get too complicated with Common Events half way through though or it can become an utter hell of endless frustration!
I look forward to the finished product Blue!

Ok, I've been working on the home town map. I've done the main characters house and the "town hall" already and I'm working on the NPC houses and a part of the school. The town is on the "north" part of the map and all snowy (because it seems most RPGs have their starting characters from the west).
