man this song makes me so upset.
as a father I can't understand how any man can bring another life into this crazy world and not be there to care for them and raise them, be their guide and show them the way...to become the hero-dad, the one who inspires so that one can grow into something great. Just a person to look up to and rely on as you live and learn.
to have a child is to be a blessing not a burden and if anyone is to raise my kids, it's going to be me - period
anyone who has not been there for their kids
has no real excuse, it's all b.s.
(and I don't mean 'bologna sandwich')
but to those who did not have a father, or good parents at that... don't let the b.s. continue, you know what it's like and what it does to a family. you can still make a better family, become a great parent and give your kids a better life then you had.

Thanks Gameface, I completely agree with you. I may not have my real father but for about 10 years I've at least had a dad there for me, and my mother too. Because a father isn't the same as a dad.
