Making an RPG game is a lot of work!
Especially when you are not using a program designed specifically for the RPG genre. This project is a fusion of what I've learned recently with HTML5 using Construct2 and past experience using RPG Maker XP and XAS. I'm excited about the action portion yet to come, but the development of an inventory, keys, chests, messaging system, almost every RPG element you can think of, must be created from scratch which is such a bitch to put together. :~x
Check out what I have so far, just know that there may not be a lot on the front end... but there are many lines of codes, events, graphic arrangements on the back end.
updates:
+hold right click to follow mouse
+right click to place marker
*try placing your marker at a distance, then hold Q + left click to test out the action.
yeah a long ways to go... it's like reading a novel to me. +
