If you've been following the Qubicle thread, I've been busy making a Voxel-like town. Instead of flooding that topic with my updates, I'll post them here instead! Here is what I've done so far:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Beginning house.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Hillside house.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] River and a duck!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]] Blue house and the river!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Church! (Tried my best with the staind-glass)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Bar/apartments?
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Wheat farm!

I'm with you ... Qubicle is 'super fun' once you get the hang of the controls, it's all about letting that creativity flow ~
Looks like you are starting to make an awesome world with this not so little town. I see a few things you have added a nice touch with, of course the duck and the street lights, just to name a few. A gas station, fast food restaurant, a bank, would be great additions. I look forward to where this is going.

:DD - topic flooding and triple posting out of excitement is most welcome here <3 It shows inspiration and motivation and hopefully it will rub off on others to start playing with 3D pixels ^,^MotionM wrote:If you've been following the Qubicle thread, I've been busy making a Voxel-like town. I fixed the images now!
I do spend a lot of time using Qubicle actually, or I'm just extremely bored today. Every day seems to offer me something new.
As long as the project doesn't overload and crash, this should work out fine when it's completed.
Any ideas on how to get all of these matrix's on a template? The only way I could see it is putting all of the .qmo's into a .Zip file and then loading one part and copying & pasting it into where you want it.

They all export into one file? How cool then.
I don't understand how the Minecraft thing would work but I think it'd be worth a try someday.

Hey M, If your project is crashing try hollowing out some of the buildings. your computer will have less things to render and it should work more smoothly.

No updates today; woke up early to change rooms (parents were using mine while they were here) and then just sat around and watched my dearly-missed TV, did yard work and talked to my Girl.
@Onesimus: Was reading in their FAQ that having more hollows actually makes it worse. I guess it's because a hollowed unit actually has memory in it more than a non-hollowed unit.

Weird, a similar program that I used a while back (blender) did the opposite. Sorry for the misinformation.
