This thing just makes it possible to select items from your inventory and equip the item as a weapon. In this case, a quintessential sword.

The system is pretty simple. But there are a few "bugs" (more like downsides).
1. If you have a dynamic party, you will need to update the "Choose which character to equip to" choices for EVERY possible combination of characters in a party. That will be alot of conditional branches.
2. The sword as a weapon does not convert to a sword as an item until you exit the menu after you unequip it.
(This will all make sense after you take a look at the common event).

I'd been thinking about making something like this before but Gameface said "the only thing is that I can't equip the weapons." so here you go.

If you do actually use it for a project, (which I doubt because of the inefficiency compared to modern script machines) I suggest not really having more than 5-6 playable characters.
I'll try work out how to fix the problems
