as a "God of War" and a "Shadow of Colossus" maniac for PS2
there has been very little for me to be excited about as far
as 'exclusive' games for the PS3. :-|
Until God of War III comes out or another
Shadow of Colossus game... the PS3 will keep playing
movies in the living room.
as a comic book kid at heart... swoop introduced me to
Battle Chasers and from then on I've always noticed the
unique styles of Joe Madureira a.k.a. Joe Mad!
He's done all types of amazing artwork and in this game
his style kept the 3D artists busy on the character design
which is very detailed...
so I've been following this Darksiders game ever since
that deal with Vigil games went down at Comicon.
They hired this very talented comic book artist to be
not only the artist but the creative director!
Darksiders just came out today.
I just started playing the game about an hour ago~
I first made it through the "blazay blazay"
"learn how to play" "where do I go" "what do I do" intro
and right as I'm about to say this game is wack!
I realize I'm being too picky since it's just the intro.
and then I find myself changing my whole opinion
since it was just an intro... now the story was getting good
and the game really grew on me.
now gameplay is just another familiar engine, but very
easy to get used to and so far the tasks you must do to
proceed is ehh...ok...I guess...
I've only scratched the surface, so it's only going to get better
and so far me likey! I recommend it! ^,^

@Gem - yes it does ^,^
take a look at some of these in game / cut scene screenshots!!!
the quality of the graphics do not differ whether it's in game or
cut scene...
I always play games at the hardest level, to see what the
combat system has to offer
so I've been playing this game on "Apocalyptic"
and it has been a challenge...
ok now I recommend this game! ^,^
EDIT: on second thought...
I only recommend this game if you are into...
an epic ghost rider style with a medieval twist
journey of a quest that will keep you away with a
soul reaver combat system and a zelda upgrade method to it
that makes you want to solve the puzzle rooms in search for
the mini boss or main boss to get the next power up and
watch the high def cut scene.
It's been a fun story so far... not certain if there will be
any replay value once I finally beat the game but I am certain
I will be more productive and active :-P

Amazing Boss Battles
Deals with Samael
Ruin (your horse)
