when it comes to music...I'm BIG on "acid-jazz"

Here's an underground band that no longer exists
FORCE 7 or Force Seven
they only made one album and for it's time
it was really good... [ album size 43.53mb ]
http://www.mediafire.com/?ngetq3wjynn
enjoy!

if you are able to find the titles of the songs
and the Album cover art, the band members names
so on and so forth... please post any of that information here.

Force Seven is a band in the Northern California area that finds it's roots in the Bay Area. It is considered Acid Jazz music, however we are against the term. Force Seven members are Jeff Bordes(trumpet/flugel) , Joel Stites(moog, clavinet, rhodes double gin &tonics and Roland Space Echo), Paul Everett (Fender Electric Bass), Garrit McGuire(Drums and Wild Turkey shots), J.J. Bromstead(Guitar, Wah-Wah pedal, sweatsuit and hammer). And turntablist Badrock, the newest official member of Force Seven. Force Seven has been together for three or so years. We have played everywhere from the Jewish Womens League of America to the Transmission Theatre in San Francisco. Memorable shows (God Knows Those Are Getting Fewer) include our annual Christmas eve shows with Roger Manning (ex-Jellyfish, Moog Cookbook, Beck) at the Union Jack Pub in Pleasanton, opening for Super Diamond (A Neil Diamond Impersonator) at the Transmission theatre in San Francisco and one of our favorites Dread Zeppelin at the Brick works in Chico. We can't remember details about the shows, but we heard we had a lot of fun. Go to www.garageband.com to listen to two of their songs. just type in their name in search.

Band Members

1995:
Paul Everett - Bass
Joel Stites - Old ass keyboards and a super heavy 88 key Rhodes
J.D. Vargas - Drums
Steve Giorgi - Drums
Jeff Bordes - Trumpet/Flugelhorn
J.J. Bromstead - Guitar with lots of Wah to the point of making one want to vomit
Bryn Davies - Upright bass on the first demo
Chad Welch - Flow on the first demo

1996:
Darrin Phillips - Drums
Eric Wilson - Bass
Jim Gomes - Bass sometimes
Gio Munesses - Saxophone
Jeff Bordes - Trumpet/Flugelhorn
Joel Stites - Keyboards
J.J. Bromstead - Guitar

1997:
I'll need help from the guys on this
Darrin Phillips - Drums
Eric Wilson- Bass
Kenny Shanker - Saxophone
J.J., Joel and Jeff

1997:
Garrit McGuire - Drums
Badrok - Turntables

....Seriously, I'll need to sit down with the guys to figure out dates:
Pete Crosby - Drums (1995?)
Pete from Slo-Mo - Drums (1999?)
Clint Bear - (2000?)
Tom Thumb - Bass
Zach Selway - Flow and Pace Bounding
Roger Joseph Manning, Jr. - Not offficial member, but my god, thank god Newman was his neighboir and his mom taught my sister elementary school. His lightsaber battle against Joel was epic and then he became bigger than any of us could ever imagine. Godzilla size.
That 1 Guy - Played saw frontwards and backwards on our album and a bunch of gigs with us. Ever seen a DJ battle a guy on a saw? We have. Also spawned the supergroup Those 2 Guys that some were fortunate enough to see at the Elbo Room. Simply amazing. A chocolate and peanut butter moment.

Wow, I had no idea that this was going to be this hard.

this was on their myspace page

I sent my contact info to gameface101. I played guitar in the band from start to finish and have most of the recordings and would be more than happy to share them.

I wish there was a cool response to that. We all did something for a little while after we broke up and used to play about once a year, but now we mostly have day jobs. A couple of the guys are still playing a lot, though. I just started recording some new stuff that sounds really similar to Force 7, but it's because it's all I know how to do. Trust me, there are many booze fueled "let's get the band back together" phone calls...mostly made by me to the other guys. They're all good guys and it was so much fun playing with them. I'm glad you like the music.

Oh, dude. Song Titles:
1. Buckets
-Peter North's nickname
2. Glass Eye
-Written by Paul and Garrit's old bandmate in the Hash Browns, Wes
3. Altitude
-Inspired by trying to sober up at Mammoth during the Gravity Games
4. SuperGhat
-Trying to invent new slang in response to "PH"
5. Joel's Friends
-You can drink enough to hallucinate a party in a basement if you try
6. 40 Year Old Party
-Actually written at a 40 year old's birthday party. We got paid like $80
7. 3 Stripes
-In honor of Adidas. Written by Jeff Bordes.
8. Finding Dilbert
-One of the first songs we ever wrote. Easy to play wasted.
9. Audio Narcotic (Bankshot)
-Chopped up audio by our friend Frank Green. Was the hidden track.

That's assuming that you got your hands on the last album that we did. Not sure which one you have, but that's most likely it.
