I just got done eating a great meal
For starters I had a salad with 3 different kinds of lettuce, cucumbers, shredded carrots, snap peas, and humongous prawns (very large shrimp) top with shredded colby jack cheese, croutons, and ranch dressing and black pepper
then I had oven baked breaded pork chops with Jufran sauce (banana sauce/banana ketchup). With steamed rice topped with butter and pepper (I know sacrilegious to my Asian/Pacific Islander friends, sorry
), and white corn also topped with butter and pepper (yes i love pepper). with diet ginger ale to drink.
and for dessert four different types of Christmas cookies (orange crisp, caramel, pumpkin cream cheese, and spritz) my wife made about 500 of them to give out for Christmas, sssshhhhh she won't miss any lol and yes I know I'm diabetic (bad petey bad)
and since I cooked I didn't have to clean the mess, score!!!

I have a family of four and believe it or not it is cheaper to eat this meal than it would be to go out and eat (yes even McDonalds) I love to eat out but I'm a fantastic cook and it is so much cheaper/healthier to buy fixins in bulk and the make a few different meals out of them. I hate left over nights because well i dont like left overs I think food should be ate fresh the first time its cooked (exceptions being cold pizza mmmm, rice for fried rice, shredded beef and chicken etc etc) If any of you is ever in Ventura County your welcome to stop by for dinner, just give me proper notice to prepare my specialty shredded chicken enchiladas in a verde sauce with mexican rice and refried beans.

Hey Ken you come to California and I will cook you the best home made chinese food (I lived with a chinese girl for four years and her family owned a resturant so I learn to cook a lot of dishes)
