I couldn't tell you how much time I've spent tinkering with RPG Maker XP, mapping, spriting, trying to script, tweaking the system, customizing my own game. So many projects never enough time to complete or side tracked by impulsive interests and endless ideas.
other than the start kits, I have quite a few projects that I haven't released or more like left on the shelf. There's been quite a few times in which I wanted to share my games yet friends would have a mac, or pc was too slow.

In this day and age a lot of mobile games and browser games are proof that when you are either on the go and have a decent phone, or want to get a game in but don't want to download a few gigs before you play only to find out your system doesn't support...

java script (js) and HTML5 is the way to go... personally I love it cuz I can simply share my experiments on a web page ^,^

Well for those of you who are just like me, plenty of RPG maker projects left undone... let's set a quest to revive them with HTML5.

RPG JS is an online solution towards making an online RPG that runs straight off the browser, it supports many platforms such as iPhone/iPad and Android as well... and get this, it can import RMXP maps and events!

I just downloaded the framework and will soon find out if this is as good as it sounds.

guess it needs RMXP to import maps. can't make maps alone.
not so user friendly, and need to another program, http://rpgcreator.net which cost $10.
