If animals can't understand language how can they think? How can they decide to stay at this water hole or go to the next? Do they think with images this concept blew my mind when I was in English, I asked my teacher and she told me to shut up and stop being weird. I know this is in stuck in space but I think we should have a general science or preferably a nature section (yeah i'm some what of a druid haha)

They think much like we do. They know from experience that it feels cooler in the shade, so if they are out in the sun and are overheating, they will go seek shade because it makes them feel better. Out brain works the same way, the more rewarded our behaviour the more we will do that behaviour.
Also, who is to say that animals don't understand language. They are able to communicate with each other. They don't speak a language such as English, but there are many different types of language.

on my favorite subject.
I guess you were barking up the wrong tree,
talking Science to your English teacher ~ha!
Here's my take on how do animals think...
We would place this under animal psychology,
and with psychology we must start with consciousness,
then break that down into language, self-awareness and
theory of mind. There is also instinct, which is exactly
what albert mentioned. Now you take that and apply it to the
specific epithet of the animal you are referring to.
Do your research...see it as a quest for knowledge
use the words to guide you.
not all animals are the same... even though humans are at
another level of thought and expression,
animals are just like us in a sense.
We all feel, behave, and "think" differently.

i remember form psycology class, that a bell was rung to "forgot word" lol
make a dog salivate. they would work on showing the dog the food and that would be instinct to drool, then they asoicated a bell ringing during this time... eventualy the dog would drool to just the sound of the bell...
also this boy albert, lil baby, they made it scraded of a lil mouse by intruducing the mouse and a loud noise...
its intresting stuff, tho my near year since the class im starting to forget things .... lol
*damn my english skills in grammer and spelling* lol

Yea, it is neat how you can develop those associations. That happens to me quite ofter, for example, if I look at a sour candy or perhaps even think of one, I salivate and can taste the sourness before eating it. Our brains are truly amazing.

I realy enjoyed that class got an A and kept all my notes...
the way we think along with animals lets not change the subject of the form... tho i think we are animals correct?? .... is simply amazing there are so many things that no one knows and we are always finding solutions to these Questions some are not what we thought they where
