This is something that I put together editing a few scripts and making a small event system.
CREDIT MUST BE GIVEN TO:
Tidloc: for his weighted items script
Game_Guy: for his item storage script
Mr Wiggles: for event system and script edits
Tidloc's Weighted Items
This will make it so that the Items the character carry have weight to them and the player has the option of dropping items.
Game_Guy's Item Storage
The player can store items in side of a chest, "similar to that of Fall Out".
Mr Wiggles
I just made it to where the items are dropped to the map inside of a chest, so the player can pick items back up if they would like.
Instructions be sure to place the items drop event on every map, the rest of the instructions are inside of the demo.

I found a buggy! When you empty your whole inventory, the game crashes. It says error "something about "nil" in wieght script.

^Looks good. Will have to try it. And also, when trying to compare something such as:
you might want to add Oblivion too, as many know Oblivion more than Fallout. (As I find Oblivion better imo)"similar to that of Fall Out".

@Cardboard: Say you have a sword, then the sword would weigh about 5kg (sorry, don't know conversions), and you could only carry about 20kg.
If we reach 20kg in weight of items and armour, then we can no longer move, or carry anymore items. (I hope this is what you were asking)

@wiggles - man this is one cool, simple, and full featured demo!
not only can you drop/pick up the items on the map you have a
weight limit for your inventory too! nicely done. looks as if your
talents in events are expanding through script as well.
