Yeah. I feel like I don't want to build too much because then I feel disorganized and have no idea where anything is. And with only 10 custom hotkeys to set things to, it's weird.
I did play my first 1v1 though. PvP. It was one of those maps where you have to destroy the rocks to get to the middle. I had 3 bases and he didnt even destroy his rock. I camped right outside of his rock with my own base and warping in Stalkers. He set up like 10 photons inside of his rocks. He went out and attacked my base, I attacked him and destroyed a few photons and his mothership came in and wrecked me. It was gg.
I hate long games though. Like if it's 1v1 and it's 5 base v 5 base then I feel like I have no idea what to do.

Yeah if you don't know what to do in the long run, just make every attack/harass you do you objective (for some sort of direction). So like, first objective is following your build order (Basic Protoss build orders ) then doing some early harass with stalkers (or just poking around). Then just set little objectives for yourself, eg. you see him building an expansion, go try and destroy it. If the enemy is balling up his army too much for you, send warps prisms into the back of his main/expo and warp in some units while attacking from the front with your main force (don't forget to run the warp prisms away).
If it's 1v1 5 v 5 base then aim to kill his newer expansions which will probably have the most minerals. Try to cut off his supply of income so he can't rebuild.

So uhh.. for future references.. How to kill a mothership? Haha
I thought they'd be easier to kill but it's the protoss' big weapon pretty much.
I sent in void rays to the guys expansion which was up on the hill and got a few kills of his probes then he had like 20 void rays and a mothership come in.
I'll upload the replay when I get home, but I kept running out of resources, like there was barely a balance between minerals and gas so I could hardly build anything.

The best way to kill a mother-ship is just focus fire with everything. It's actually easier to kill than your think. They're meant to be weak against void rays, but stalkers do just fine.
In battles, keep your different units on different hotkeys so you can get each group to focus fire different things (as opposed to your entire army focusing one thing). If you have more minerals than you need, check if you have all gases mining. If you do, build some zealots or some cannons (or more gateways! Getting 21 is probably the best, pun intended). If not enough minerals, check if you have enough workers mining.
