To be blatantly frank the target audience was not even you but more directed to people that grew up with these characters and figures and those who know the characters, i know for a fact that you don't know 75% of the characters and their origins e.g. Black Widow and Hawk Eye or who or what the Chitauri are. The fact is that they don't really care what Australians thinks of this film, because Americans are the ones who invented Marvel. It kinda like a American watching a Australian classic like "Looking for Alibrandi" they probably would have thought that the characters were weirdos and that the story line was sooooo simple. But we thought it was good enough to win Australian Film Institute Award. i just find it funny when people don't look from the other perspective and are ignorant

BluE wrote:yeah....I won't see it. Frankly I've kinda had it with recent movies (for my age audience) . I mean, all they really are is Michael Bay inspired action with half the 100million dollar budget spent on post effects. Of course, a third of the remaining 50 million goes out to the next Bruce Willis or something that they casted for the cheese underscripted and shallow main character that has as much depth as a teaspoon

>_> I didn't watch Avengers. I did read about them on Wikipedia a few years ago though...comic book story arcs are so confusing because there are so many series' about one character going on at the same time. DC actually reset all character story lines some time in 2011 so that people would actually understand what was going on. So like, Batman and Superman are back to the beginning now.
I was talking more about Michael Bay Transformers, that sort of thing.

I was never a movie guy but I'd like to see more movies with Aaron Paul.
Choking man was good because I've seen it twice back to back. I've never did that in my life!
