ok, in the beginning of the movie, what was up with the alien humaniod eating that stuff next to the waterfall? (I still don't get it)

i liked it. since im a fan of it all alien movies they definitely have spawned a new story line.
@reasons to watch: if your a fan of the series, like scifi.
@reasons to wait for video, slow. not really heavy special effects, ending is in the trailer*( not much of a spoiler) and save your money.. its def a redbox rental.
@reasons not to watch. theres a part where someone gets an operation in the midsection of their body. and runs and jumps and leaps.. does pullups and all this shot.. and i cant even do that when i have gas. made the movie terrible.
@RIDLEY SCOTT - the scene where the charlise theron dies is a joke.. like a fucking cartoon.

- bro thats the seeding of earth. his DNA was thrown into the waterfall to basically start life as we know it on earth. basically one of 3 parts i liked

I thought there would be more gunfight, but more of a story. I give it a 9.5 out of 10.

Just finished watching this right now. I think this was an amazing movie with that "prequel" aspect to it that gives us the definition of Alien. The only part I didn't like was the ending. It seemed like the rushed it and didn't explain what that
It has been announced that there will be a Prometheus 2, which I'm sure might take after the ending of the first one, and since Sigourney Weaver has barely aged any (In beauty , of course ) since she first started the series, possibly see her in it? I'd give it a buy if you're a super fan of the Alien Trilogy. I remember watching the entire Trilogy just this year and I can remember most of the first one just perfect to how it fits into the prequel.

- "squid" like monster was and how the Xenophobe came out of the Engineer? Also did anyone else notice there was a blue-ish tint to the Xenophobe? Reminded me of Sonic "Sonic, you're supposed to go fast, not kill people! Sonic, what are you doing, lad?! Sonic...Can't we talk this over some??" LOL
