My guess is it's going to die down like Party Rock Anthem.
Also you mentioned that "not many Kpop stars do the dirty". I'm gonna hazard a guess and assume that you mean something like "they don't deviate a lot". Typically, the bigger companies (SMent, YG, JYP) don't like to train or produce music for their artists that deviate from the "proven formula of success". Like, the poppy music, the generic hip hop/synth etc. This is why it can be hard for new bands to make a name. Cos it's all the same. I guess this is also a reason why they have groups, more personalities to sell. Also they do tv shows, radio and movies (the band members) to add to the band's repertoire. This can be seen as an example of Asian thinking of performance. Only do what you're trained to do so you can do it flawlessly. This not only applies to the music formula, but also Asian maths, pro-gaming and general "look he can play piano so well or some shot". Asians can dominate those areas because it's easier to drill in one technique and repeat it to win. Once a person does something out of wack, Asians are like "well...I guess...".
Im also going to guess that SMent, JYP or any other company aren't going to have a response to Psy(YG) any time soon.

heh, glad to see that you know me. Nah, havent posted this. I guess cos I'm Asian already, but I don't see what's so great about it ._. (opinion shared with a korean friend of mine). It's also kinda irritating when people have the lyrics wrong. But I suffer from "insane hipster syndrome" which I've been trying to cure myself of. ^-^swoop wrote:
