This platform script is very nice, well done! I love the enemy gravity feature!
The only thing I don't like is when you keep the jump button pressed the hero graphic freezes instead of changing back to the "normal" sprite.
Also, I was wondering if it would be possible to modify this script so that characters can move in depth as well, like a multidirectional sidescroller (such as final fight), although it seems like a though task to accomplish

is this what you have planned for Hokuto no Ken?
Xplat uses drop down gravity so you wouldn't use it to make such a game, some mapping and eventing with some XAS wizardry... hmmm now you got me wanting to make another starter kit for those type of games!!!

You got it right!
I managed to make an evented jump system (I can even execute attacks while jumping), but it obviously lacks gravity.
I'm good at eventing, but can't script and I think the only way is coding this system.
Maybe you can work your magic, I'm sure you could do it with your skills!
