Here's some smash 4 for you. Just got it back.
If anyone would like to donate a capture card (broken or alive) I'll be more than happy to take it off your hands.

This is the closest thing i have to a capture card that's been taking up space on my desk. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Note: This is probably not the same model but close to it.

Too bad I don't have a PC.
It should be possible to take an HDMI from a console and put it in the HDMI slot on your pc/laptop.

Like using the port as a I/O interface, like a USB? Both ends are male and it wouldn't have any problem connecting like that.
Think i found something that could work.

Here is the cheapest i could find for a capture device, no frame rates listed and supports 480i/p or 576i/p. 25$
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The next one up is this, supports 1080i/p no listed frame rates either. 58$

Here is the page i was looking at.

How ever i hope its decoded when it captures the video...
Hopefully they only mean Movies and Music, watching some one play a game IS NOT the same as copying the whole thing. Like that with a movie.

Just use a USB 3.0 to HDMI DisplayLink adapter. They're not that expensive, and give reasonable picture quality.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP), is a form of digital copy protection developed by Intel Corporation[1] to prevent copying of digital audio and video content as it travels across connections.

I said port. What I meant was the HDMI card. Like take one end of the card and put it into the laptop and the other in the console. I wish it was like that.
I'll have to see into theses. How come they are so high?

25$ isn't all that much really, compared to the other capture devices its about 1/8th the cost of a high quality one made by some other companies. Which is why i was weary of the HDCP that IBM/Microsoft created for anti piracy.
I think the first one i linked the Grabber Capture is the cheapest one i could find online.

I have created a new song. It's a remix of the character select menu from Super Smash Bros. 64.
