oh yeah it's been along time coming...
making a 'good' platformer on RMXP IS possible.
it's figuring it out that is the trick
To make a 'good' platformer with XAS is even trickier, but thanks to mr_wiggles and moghunter
we are inching closer to one bad@$$ starter kit just for making side scrolling action platformers!
Not only does it excite me for the games I will make, but to see what other will do with it ^,^

Just waited over 40 mins to get the latest version of Xplat (7kbps for a 15mb file, YAY INTERNET!). It was totally worth staying up for and is *@!#ing amazing.
uber smooth, mega epic.
Pretty lol sound effects
only bad part I found was that when you shoot, the projectile is too low. (it shoots from his knees)

In case some of you are waiting for the update on this platform project, here's an early look into the latest development.
This video is only to showcase some of the newer features such as projectile particles, character graphic changes when
jumping & falling, push & throw objects, and more...
