The gang is working hard to release some really cool RMXP starter kits for all to play with! @.@These open source kits can be used to make your own games or to study how things were made, reverse engineer, pick, pull, and use what you like in your own project(s)
RPG Maker XP may not be the fastest or latest game making program, but a lot has been developed over the years. It is definitely a great way to start in game development and truly household favorite. So many breakthroughs for more 2D adventures...

The XAS platformer is almost
complete. Mr_wiggles and Moghunter has been so kind to add their touch to it.
This may branch off into a Contra, Mega Man, or even Ghouls and Ghosts starter. who knows~?
