When my family goes out to eat, we like to go for Teppanyaki!
If you never had or even heard of,
it's fun, entertaining, and tastes great!
Where I live there's a place called
Kyoto Palace near by, the Master Chef is Chinese and his name is Jose, he always makes me laugh.
In my opinion, what makes a great teppanyaki chef is:
1.) can make people laugh/clap/enjoy
2.) got tricks and creative ways to cook
3.) after all the stunts, the food comes out delicious
here's a perfect video as to what you should expect if you ever go out for Teppanyaki:
check out some of these random vids:
got tricks?
spatula N fork skills!

^part of what you pay for is the entertainment
I've had chefs that did nothing but cooked and took a bow
once done cooking. ~ BORING
While others not only took your preference but they put on a show!
From juggling acts with the salt and pepper shakers, spatula and cooking fork,
To spinning eggs, making art with the yoke
(like a happy face, rooster, the country you live in)
then egg toss, where they toss a piece in the air and you have to catch it with your mouth.
other little tricks like the heart shaped fried rice -
tapping the spatula underneath to make a heartbeat
and the volcano onion are always fun to see.

I've been to teppanyaki once or twice. THe chefs are pretty good at conversation and are more artistic in cooking than your average chef.
