Just wanted to get everyones take on going a different route besides the colorful square pixel people in their colorful pixel worlds we use to make our games with. The second image is a quicky demo of the shadow peeps in action.

Good reviews, Cool.
@Supercow
The hardest part is to make the silhouettes read in profile which I'm told is the best way to read one clearly.Really only took like 15 minutes to draw everything up on the first image(like 10 minutes for the second), but I tried to fully render a character at 500x500 pixels then shrink down to the rmpxp size to be imported. It looked fine, but just to color 1 frame out of what 16 that would be needed for a character sprite it took 30 minutes. So.... 8 hours to produce one good looking colored sprite compared to the 30 min-hour (rough guess, going to find out soon) it would take me to make one of these character sprites. Still working on the overall layout, but I know I want it to be different shades of grey, but overtime I know this will become boring to look at so maybe some stages will be black and different shades of green, red, blue, replacing the grey, or no grey and these colors. No clue yet. Also my plan is to take stock animations from rmxp and desaturate them to see how these look in gameplay.

Without yours and others contribution to developing 8XPLATT
I would have had to learn gamemaker.
