Not that the trailer doesn't look good, and it will probably be a great movie. But did the have to call it "Clash if the Titians", that was a great movie. Not just action but story telling and full of Greek Myth. I rarely seen a remake that lives up to the original, in fact none come to mind. Why don't they just change the names of the characters and call it something else. Sorry guys don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but I think you should leave the classics be.

remake, I would be excited first then disappointed after ^,^

but let's watch these blockbuster crews with a few A-list actors
do their best not to disappoint us original Clash of the Titans fans.

It would be sacrilegious to even suggest that they might remake The Princess Bride, man I think you made me heart stop for a few seconds. DON"T DO THAT, don't you remember I have had a heart problem since I was a kid lol

I don't doubt that the effects will be great, from what little I saw they look awesome. But is it going to be another Hollywood "fluff and no stuff" piece. I have been disappointed in Hollywood for years now. I rarely go to the movies anymore. Hell I didn't even go to see "Where The Wild Things Are". I used to be a total movie buff but in my old age I have become a book fanatic because movies just don't deliver like they used to. When I was a kid they used to inspire and make me dream, I wish I couls go back to being a kid again. But I have found sanctuary in books, you should see my library lol. If fact I am going to start on the classics at the end of the summer

You know what would make a pretty sic remake is "Jason and the Argonauts" there would be a lot of pissed Ray Harryhausen fans. But the concept was amazing and though the movie was classic it just doesn't deliver. I bought a copy for my kids to watch because it's rated G, and they got bored. I ended up finishing the movie myself. And that same feeling I had when I was a kid was there lol.

I sort of agree with Cheaty Petey. The classics are the best, rearranging the story would be disappointing. For example the Sandlot, after they made part 2 it ruined the story. Some movies should be left alone. To be left as a great classic instead of always being resurrected fifty million times.
