Recently laid off alittle early so I have about 2 months of free time to really focus on my pixel art skills. My plans are to post now and later .png's of my pixeling and see how much I can really improve in this short period of time. If anyone wants to, feel free to post your custom pixel arts or just tips and tricks.

What I've learned so far concerning pixel art:
-Choose at least 5 color shades when painting
-Make work area 50x50 (Depends on what your drawing)
-Really focus on where the light source is comming from
-Lots of zooming in and out
-NEVER CONNECT CORNERS!!!
-Lots of hours watching YouTube on "How To Pixel Art" or "Pixel Art Tutorials"
Also I've found a quick and simple way to make cliff walls that really look like they belong on the SNES, soo if anyones interested I will post it up on the big YouTube.

COOL, i have just been learning as i go, its sorta how i am, i jump in and make a million mistakes and then get the job done.
been doing all the work on my actors in my game, and working on a tile set.
(nothing much just them holding different types of weapons)
but its very difficult i found out to find the right way to show detail.

Well its been a week since my venture into the world of pixelating, and im starting to improve "alittle". Made a custom header for my girl-friends company website. (under construction) [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Only thing that I did in pixel..well...you can tell. The problem I ran into is she has "D cup's" and I couldn't really make those on her preschool site, but other than that it does almost look like her (kinda)
