Werewolves Vs. Lycans

A werewolf is someone who voluntarily or involuntarily shifts in one aspect or another.


A lycan (short for lycanthrope) suffers from a mental disease that causes the person to believe they are able to transform.

Both can be deadly and both are real. Although I have never heard nor seen a physical shift doesn't mean it isn't real just rare. The more common mental shift or astral shift are certiantly less dangerous but more common. These may include such symptoms as a spike in strenght, a "need" to hunt, or even resorting to animal instinct. There existince has been marked since the beginning of written language. This short (yeah right) timeline marks some real and fictional occasions of werewolves.
