just a small touch; added a digital clock on the top right header to keep track of time... sometimes when I'm on the site I tend to forget 
edit: added the date and time, I always feel foolish when I don't know the date or which day it is
if you are in a different time zone, let me know if this reflects correctly. thx!

for those who haven't noticed... I've been busy touching up the site ever since the smart phone update messed everything up. after things got straightened out, I started some serious spriting in which I got more savvy in making animated gifs to test animation. figured I'd make some cool gifs for the site and clean things up... which lead me to the "gamepage" if you haven't seen check it out and tell me what you think. just click on the little face link in the center of the header

+I've cleaned up the scrolling announcement with new graphics and links to the related forum.
+New Gameface Navigation HUD, it's different!
unless you like a good old nav bar

it's pretty simple
+envelope = messages
+quote = chatbox
+network = community
+magnifying glass = search
+ arrow to the left = log out
*anything else you would like to add?
oh, and the time and date with the Calendar square
(top right corner)
*currently working on the "portal" have fun in the forums!

im gone for a few days with computer problems and i come back to all these new additions. :p
Anyways im running a new OS i figured i would try out, (Ubuntu) so we'll see how that goes. I'll let gface know if i run into any problems on the site.

I think I'm about 90% done with the Navigation HUD for those who are logged in. I kind of got carried away on tinkering with it, but standing back and looking at it... I feel pretty good about what was accomplished. Most forum sites I've seen use the good old navigation 'bar' so it's nice to have a spin on an easier and better looking interface to journey through cyberspace.
I'd like to make some small touches on the icon graphics, other than that, the layout is solid. please share your feed back if you have other opinions about it.
now to finish the portal and preview pages, then I can get back to spriting and making games ^,^
