It was a normal day. The sun was shining. Everyone was working. Carrying their loads on their backs. Everyone lived in the same communal hall. It was large enough to fit several thousand occupants.
BOOM
Everyone stopped in their tracks.
BOOM
No-one needed telling.
BOOM
Everyone ran for their lives.
What was peace seconds ago was now chaos. Everyone was running to the protected hall. Many wouldn't make it. Suddenly with a loud CRUNCH some one was crushed. Crushed between the floor and the foot of the giant. The giant emitted a strange sound that seemed to go up and down.
The beast disposed many other in the same fashion as the first. The shrieks of the half-dead and the twitching of the dying was horrific. Splatters of gore lay on the floor beside the twisted ruined remains of the dead.
After it had crushed the fleeing bodies, the giant looked at the rest of those fleeing. It then removed a see through circle from it's pocket. The giant positioned the circle above someone. A shaft of heat descended from the circle and slowly incinerated the person.
It tried the run from the burning ray of light. But the giant was faster. The person exploded in a shower of blood and flesh. The persons body sizzled like freshly cooked meat. It's head had remained undamaged and was now shuddering and convulsing as the severed neck spurted fluid.
The giant again emitted the same up down sound. It stomped onwards to treat others in the same way. Several victims later it seemed to become bored of what seemed to it, such a meaningless death and decided to kill the fleeing persons slower. In a way this was good. More people would live to work for the community.
The giant picked up a struggling body. It examined the figure in it's hand. It reached down and tore off one of the persons legs. The shrieks and screams assaulted the ears of the living. They heard as the victim was slowly and painfully tortured. They heard the CRACK as the victims body was partially torn in half then crushed. Yet the victim was still alive. The giant lay the dying being on the ground and watched it spasm around, dragging it's entrails on the ground, making a line of blood and guts.
By now everyone was in the sheltered hall. It was dark. The giant, being unable to reach the others had decided to smash the roof in. How original.
After hours of work, the hole was cleared out. everyone was clear to go back to work. First was to retrieve the dead and take them back.
When the first worker arrived at the scene of the massacre, it saw the dozens of mutilated bodies on the ground. The messed bodies of ants. Ants, which humans regard as small nothings. Even less then nothing. To humans, the lives of ants are things to play with. And destroy.

To be honest I kinda guessed it was about ants like a few lines down.
So did u watch A Bugs Life of somthing b4 u wrote that?
Yeah I got the message... U basiclly said it at the end... I do find it to be byest 2wards humans tho. What I mean is that not everyone is like that.
But u are right... Alot of us can be very cruel and it isnt right.
U really put the reader in the shoes of the ants too, which is great. Because anyone that does this would not like it, if it was done to them... Obviouly.. At least that was the impression I got anyway.

@The bugs life thing: Yeah, it was a good movie. C: old times
When I said that they destroy the lives of *insert insect* (in this case ants) I was trying to say sorta like, we take lives of smaller beings without much thought even though they are much like us. They endure the daily struggle for life. :0
Yeah, thanks for compliment (putting reader in shoes of ants).
YAY!
