The smell of sulfur
The warm fire caresses me
The smoke begins to turn me into cougher
As the building burns I feel the glee
I hear the sirens blare
I stand on the rooftop
The height gave me a scare
Then my heart began to stop

The fire
The dire
The rage
The cage
You can't burn metal but metal can burn you

I jump to the next building but it's burning
I fall through into the flame
My stomach is turning
My worries become less tame
I freak out and jump the 3 stories
I feel the crack in my leg
But that's the least of my worries
Maybe if I'm caught I can beg

I am the fire
I feel the dire
I have the rage
I break the cage
Fire burns even in hell

I begin to run
I hear shouts
I hear a gun
I turn into an alley for a way out
I look back and see the smoke from me
I should of saved them
What they did finally broke me
I just shattered like a gem

I burned myself
I lost the dire
Where's the rage
I needed the cage
The fire has burned out
