Wiggles and I created a pretty extensive soundtrack for the game, all in 8-bit. How did we do it? Well, heres how.
You will need: Guitar Pro
GSXCC
Guitar Pro Tabs for your favorite songs
You'll need to head over to a Guitar Tab website, we use Ultimate-Guitar.com, and look for your song. If it's a popular tune, most likely there will be a special "Guitar Pro" tab. Download that, and open it. This will open the GP program. Export the tab file as a MIDI, and save it somewhere you'll know where it is.
Next, open GSXCC, and click+drag the MIDI file onto the UI of GSXCC. It will read it, and begin playing the file. The way it sounds in GSXCC will be it's true 8-bit sound. You can change the virtual instrument set if you'd like, to add different tones to it, but...you get the idea
You can then save this file as a WAV. I HIGHLY suggest getting a reformatting tool that can format these massive WAV's into OGG files, it will save your hard drive big time.
-Any Questions, just ask in this thread. Cheers -

~~~~~~ALSO~~~~~~~
Certain Guitar Pro Tabs will include different instruments.
REMEMBER to LOOK at what kind of tab you're downloading. If you want 8-bit vocals, make sure the GP Tab includes "Vocals" in it.
