Still under developement, "Future bloodlines" is an up-and-coming project that will flaunt talents from Calvin624, mr_wiggles, Hackel, Albertfish, and much more including yours truly! ^,^
Using the latest XAS 3.82, "FB" will be open for everyone to enjoy and
study how the game was made to make your very own game!!!

@Ken - you ROCK! thanks for all of your support...
you have no idea how this charges up my robot batteries ^,^

~haven't been chatty lately because I've been
working hard on tidying up this beta of a demo.
Regardless of the project's status, calvin"624" and I
will have something out soon enough for all to enjoy
during the holidays... you will definitely see some raw
development...but through time we will have a polished
and complete project before we move on to the next chapter.
Bloodlines will be 1 of 4 so just know we are aiming to please,
and personally we have surpassed even our own expectations.

I hope everyone enjoys this open and free project
and appreciates people like Hackel and Albertfish for their
brilliant contributions.

We are hoping to inspire and make the RMXP with XAS
or any ABS community grow even more...
but who knows what the "Future" may hold... :face:

Woh, looks awesome if you add good ideas. Its funny how much more popular Xas is becoming. I remeber when no one knew about ita couple years ago, and I was like "SWEET FIND!" and now its even a better script. Lolz. Its becoming to user friendly though... I liked it when it was tougher to find out what to do (being all in portuguese) and then when you made something you felt extremely proud with yourself, now its just a whatever thing.
Just curious...
Is this all being done in scripting? OR is it mass comment events + scripting?

@bullet - yeah I remember how last year there was barely any
support and add ons for XAS, not until Calvin stepped up and
started making tutorials, I myself had to find out how to do
things through trial and error... then greats like Hackel
made an Ally system and Fenwick with his hookshot tool.
I'm glad to see the XAS community grow, now we are starting to
see more and more add ons which you can find on this site and
even more in the Future Project (yet to be released.)
In the project, some of the events for the Tools will be worth copying over and pasting into other projects. along with nifty edits to the XAS system and other support scripts which will bring more options to more ideas for XAS game makers. It's simply our tribute to our favoite ABS.

I recall you have made some XAS tweaks yourself...
looking forward to your progress as well.

@GameFace - Its true, I had to learn everything by trial and error too--those were the days. The only problem i have with these tutorials is now i don't feel special anymore...

Sounds good, can't wait till its done, i want to see something fresh in the XAS system.

Hehe, yeah I was tweaking my battle formula for my game so i could easily keep track of how much damage is going to be done. That also included messing with the elements so that weapon element worked. I also had to really crazy things to try and get Seph Spawn's Skill Shop to work with the menu system, and Calvin's menu selection... and it still doesnt work, I only got it to work in Calvin's Quick Skill Selection menu. When you learn a skill with the Skill Shop, the skill isnt usable/selectable, what a problem.

good eye wiggles haha - yup that's the same ship used in the Star-G demo...
in the game it's called the S.S.XEGA and it's fully tricked out for the
Star map... (not a world map, but a star map!)

there's going to be a lot of familiar things with
a brand new twist ^.^

@Ken - yes, we planned on releasing an "alpha" version during the holidays...
but Calvin and I came to an agreement that if we are to release a demo
it better be solid. Sorry to keep you waiting...we're going to make up for that
by making this project worth the wait.

@everyone - as an update...calvin624 will be sending over the latest version of this project by this weekend.

then we will determine the final release date since we have eliminated most major bugs and such.

Mr_Wiggles has made an awesome laser map that we will incorporate.

then the remainder of the work will be fine tuning enemies (bosses too)
and more original music and art... oh and story!

official release date has not yet to be announced,
but we are about 80% or more complete with the fully loaded working demo.
