From trying to make RMXP RGSS scripts to designing many game HUDs... making a skin with Rainmeter was like second nature. I really like the combinations of style, easy navigation, and monitoring performance with simpler coding to setup your graphical gadgets interface that you can share for others to interact with their windows pc. GAME_GRID is my very first attempt towards learning Rainmeter and making an original TRON theme/skin. SCREENSHOTS 6.0

The concept is to secure a center where a select staff would aim to teach and inspire all age groups to be creative in every element of making an original story that you then draw/design, make music and sound effects, program, present, then play on a custom built machine. I admit that I barely do any justice to the "101" as far as how many tutorials you will find here, but I'm always learning and will eventually share tips on what has helped me along the creative process.

"Into the Nexas" is the working title for the introduction of "Nexas" the main character for Future Bloodlines.
Calvin624, mr_wiggles, and I ... along with help from a few others had progressed this XAS title beyond our own beliefs! Customized tools, new scripts, original music and graphics including a collection of "future" resources for RMXP. After having to migrate this beast of a project from XAS v3.7f, then v3.82, then 3.91 we finally decided to pause and wait for XAS4 once that was announced. It has been some time since Moghunter last gave us a sneak peek at the amazing...

Thought I would dust off the blog and say that I've been spending some quality time learning Ruby. (RGSS to be specific) What I've found to be most helpful in learning more about RGSS: 1.) the "HELP" menu in RPG MAKER XP F1 contents 2.) the RGSS script reference portal on R3. http://www.rpgrevolution.com/rgss-script-ref/3.) learning from mr_wiggles *who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

As you members know, when you are logged in you can see "Who is online"
Lately I've noticed an increase in number of guests as well as an increase in new registered members.
For guests who have been here before or first time browsing, there is "more to look at" when registered and logged in.
Initially it was to keep the development more private and then to share polished and finished work with the public.
But through time it became more of a privilege for those who join and contribute to the community.
Of course with the author,inventor,...

The gang is working hard to release some really cool RMXP starter kits for all to play with! @.@ These open source kits can be used to make your own games or to study how things were made, reverse engineer, pick, pull, and use what you like in your own project(s) RPG Maker XP may not be the fastest or latest game making program, but a lot has been developed over the years. It is definitely a great way to start in game development and truly household favorite. So many breakthroughs for more 2D adventures... XAS Zelda Starter:
