It felt like forever waiting for StarcraftII before it came out.
If it wasn't for Warhammer40K and the SoulStorm expansion... I think me and the boys would of gone berserk and broke into Blizzard's head quarters to get a beta copy.
Playing Warhammer I learned that the story has been out longer than StarCraft. But Starcraft had the RTS engine and Warhammer had the miniature models you had to paint and to play with for games.
Now Warhammer has established their RTS games and now this Space Marine title before Blizzard could release their 'Ghost project' (which they should continue)
Coming September 6th

I remember playing Dawn of War ~ Soul Storm (the Tao is my favorite race to play), but that's an RTS,
Space Marine is more like Gears of War meets God of War.
Even before there were video games, there was Warhammer (D&D, TZR, etc...)
Games like WarCraft (and StarCraft, hence 40K)
had to of been inspired by games of WarHammer or stories of it's universe.
Since then I've played the Warhammer video games: tactical, RTS, and if they don't make an RPG ~ I will
