Like woah, where did all the time go, I find it hard to believe how fast it flew by. As the site approaches it's 2nd birthday, it's time to recognize some of the most outstanding members and to show them our appreciation for the laughs, thoughts, support, inspiration, the positivity, and ultimately making the underground what it is today. (the best kept secret 
)
This Sunday will mark our second year and the fact that we are still active, means we are doing something right.
My have we slowly and steadily grown in members (over 500 registered users from around the world), topics (1100 + ), posts (>16k), projects, etc...
With my multiple jobs demanding more from me, I will have to sacrifice some sleep just to make this awards ceremony worth while as I will need to dedicate some time for the award icons, demo prizes, and other clever ideas along the way.
A special thank you to those who brought things to the table, helped make the table bigger and better, and invited others by telling them where the table is at.
For any of you who had taken from the table, the least you can do is thank whoever helped you out if you have not already.

I'll continue to keep you all updated on the progress since
this should take some time. Based off of the vision, I will have to do some research on the back end to have all the profile fields appear in each users profile.
Currently making animated icons which will be used for the medals, there will 3 three types of medals:
awards (for being awesome, merit)
achievements (for accomplishment)
marks (for impression, representation)

man wiggles, I'm awarded every time you log on, share your thoughts, a script, a demo...
even when others share a track, a drawing, a joke, etc...
this is my way of saying thank you and making sure everyone is recognized for what they can do...
This has been a long process but so much has been accomplished, I've created the show/hide profile field
(under the avatars), made so many 24x24 icons for the awards, now I'm scrubbing through the forums for posts that really stand out and I'm only awarding a few prizes to those who really deserve it.

UPDATE! Going forward, as a tradition, the awards ceremony will take place every February, this gives me enough time to recover from the holidays and to review the site for the previous year.
Most of the back-end work is complete the rest is just setting things up and watching profiles sparkle!
