Damn that sucks! Playtested that town just now, used the inn a bunch of times just fine, but on the 6th time I got that harmony DLL error you were talking about. RPG Maker 2000 is weird sometimes.

All I can say is save before you ever use an inn.

@Qeo - I've been playing part 1 and loving it, it has been such a fun adventure so far. It's been at least an hour of play time and there has been laughs, challenges, and even some touching moments. Looking forward to playing this thing through and sharing my unfiltered feedback.

you really made a great game ++++

from the dialog, to the cast of characters, cut scenes, the need to level up for spells and to farm for equipment, everything was solid
I really enjoyed getting my rpg retro gaming fix.

Vedra 2 is up for download too - It doesn't have the "retro charm" that the first one has but the characters feel more unique I think, and a more interesting story.

It does have some old characters, but they're not playable. If it started out with Zaru and Gon, they would be too powerful... unless every enemy in the game was also powerful. They already took out someone who could destroy planets so it would be nonsensical to have normal enemies giving them problems at the beginning of the game.

So there's new heroes in Vedra 2, and new heroes in Vedra 3.

just downloaded Vedra2 ~ It's in RMXP!? now we're talking my language ^^

good thing that I had the RGSS104E.dll handy, it didn't come with the project.
