Just played my first match against the AI. The AI are better than me. 
I have the maps for Warcraft 3 and it just feels clunky compared to League of Legends. (I know, DotA was first, but still, DotA2 is more cleaner haha) Getting items just feels like you need to take a lot of time to learn. I don't even know what kind of champ I'm getting. (Agi,Str,Int)
I guess I just need to learn more.

You talking about Dota2 or DotA? I've tried playing DotA against AI and they don't do anything...
I heard that Dota2 and HoN have a higher skill cap. But y'know in the end, it's what game is more enjoyable.

DotA. The version I have has bot scripts (atleast that's what the map info says).
DotA 2 just looks like HoN, less clunky then WC3's design
I played like 10 matches of HoN. I was underleveled the entire 10 matches. Plus in DotA1, you dont have health bars on minions and other heroes or warnings and no team sidebar to see your teams health.

Anyone getting Dota2 when it comes out on steam? I don't think I will cos DotA belongs to the original WC3 community, not as a trademarked name. Dota isn't even an acronym anymore. It's just Dota instead of DotA. FIGHT ME VALVE!

I might. I tried to get into the beta but getting the keys sound hard. I just want to play it for a LoL break. It looks a lot easier than DotA on WC3 though. Everything is just less spaced together.
Saying DotA belonging to the WC3 community is like saying League of Legends does too. (Nothing bad). Also, Riot stole Rylai's Crystal from the champ Rylai in DotA. She's a freezing/slowing mage.

Ahhh yeah. But Guinsoo (he worked with Riot to make LoL) was the original maker of DotA Allstars before he gave the project to IceFrog. So LoL is kind more like migration.
EDIT: Guinsoo worked with Riot. He's not the developer :p

I heard of other "rogue" sites too. I'll try it though. I used to always want to play DotA whenever I was at my friends house but I always got kicked because I needed to download the map and such
