- OKAY FIRST OFF - PAX 2013
NA - If you watched the PAX 2013 LCS stream then you would have seen the fall of team Curse, Team Dignitas, and Team CLG. They will not be going to Worlds. However, TSM, Team Vulcun (One of Aphromoo's old team members, originally CLG Black), and one of the saviors of the NA Region, Cloud 9, will represent NA at Worlds.
I'll drop down and say that I haven't been watching any of the EU LCS, but if you have been following the EU scene, then you already know who will represent the EU region. Lemondogs, which I've heard are probably around the same level as Cloud 9; Former Moscow 5 team, Gambit Gaming BenQ, and Season 1 Champions, Fnatic.
Representing Southeast Asia, which would be Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam, only one team will be qualifying, and that is Team Mineski (Min-Eski). The SEA region is known for the Season 2 teams, Singapore Sentinals, and Saigon Jokers.
The Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau countries only had two main teams and only one got the spot: Gamania Bears. Knocking out Taipei Snipers, which I believe hold some old members of Season 2 Champions Taipei Assassins. If I'm also correct, Taipei Assassins did horribly this season since they wanted to change the line-up, replacing 3 or 4 of the Champions.
OGN - I love these damn Koreans. I have a subscription to OGN and I watch them play in the morning before I leave for work. (Filler winners)
China - The LPL has great teams that represent China. Unfortunately, their finals are this weekend and I won't know the results until after the weekend.
If you don't know already, The LoL World Championship will take place September 15th through October 4th. That's one damn long tournament.
Season 3 ends October 31st. Like last season, if you around, you get a summoner icon and a few more goodies based on your Solo Queue rank.
Bronze or higher get a Summoner Icon based on your Tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Challenger)
Silver or Higher get a profile banner during the loading screen based on your Tier, also a Victorious ward skin, which is pretty awesome.
Gold or higher: You will get an invitation badge based on your tier. I have no idea what this will do honestly. You also earn a permanent Victorious ward skin and a Victorious Elise skin (it's been broken down people, look at the picture here!)
Now some cool things that are happening:
Toronto, Canada recently had a community of League players get together and have a movie theater stream the Pax 2013 coverage of the LCS. People from Buffalo, NY even crossed the Canadian border to watch it.
With the success that is OGN and LoL, the mayor of Seoul spoke out about League of Legends. The mayor said that next year they will be opening an e-Sports stadium in Sangam.

I was wondering if for the E-sports segment, I could join in with M to make it more of a discussion as opposed to simply reading out things like a news cast. People can get news anywhere, but discussion is unique to a group of people.

I'm a big fan of E-sports, so I practically know a lot about games and teams, not VERY much, but probably enough to know what you'd be talking about if you were to say bring up SC2.

I've pretty much weaned off the SC2 scene which is, honestly, dying off a lot to the new ones like LoL. I've been doing a lot of reading up on the LoL scene, but not much gameplay watching so far. I don't have the time just yet, but I have a three/4 week holiday coming up the week after next (test block) so I'll have plenty of time then.

yeah E-sports is coming up like X-games did. So you can't go wrong covering something that will definitely not fade away... I don't mean a certain game, the professional challenge of playing them.
Guys the chat is back, I surpassed the host's CSS limit, but I learned to compress redundant code and now the CSS for the chat has been corrected.
Y'all should chop it up there in real time and fine tune a nice script for E-sports +
