since the mid 90s pokemon has been running rampage from 250 pokemon to 643 pokemon has made a big leap just recently games freak has released pokemon x & y. start of pokemon x and will be very familiar once you click on new game the professor will talk to you in details about the pokemon universe. then you're stuck between picking a boy or girl unlike previous games you are now able to change the colour of your character, the rpg aspect of the game has evolvedthe rock the game you're able to customize your character from hat to shoe, giving you that distinct feeling online the mission in this game is pretty solid catch them allthe main villains in this game are team flare appearing through out the game with the worse lines ever. it seems as though to the lines of team rocket all the way up until now the villains in pokemon have gotten a lot worse team flares boss is focused on making the world a better place but in his on image. throughout endless mediocre attempts team flare is the defeated. gym battles can be very challenging with the introduction of fairy type monsters being strong against dragon types finally the almighty dragon has a weakness and it comes in a tinkerbell outfit. this latest game immerses you an inverse ways to level up your pokemon the ds bottom screen is more lively then before featuring a Super Training mode where you can level up the EV (effort value) a Player search menu where you can find and battle anyone around the world with just a click of a button. Pokemon this time around suffers from its repetitiveness from the previous games it's so repetitive that playing it a second time is just not worth the effort, over all pokemon x and y will be a great eye catcher to die hard pokemon fans. Maybe Nintendo will bring them self back with the newest games releasing  November 2014
