just to give yallz an update, I've been working on a certain platform script to work with XAS for quite some time...
just recently the amazing mr_wiggles made a few edits to the update definitions in the XAS system and Cogwheel's platform and everything works like a charm!
I am super excited about making games like:
blaster master
mega man
ghouls and ghosts
bionic commando
double dragon
(just to name a few) in my favorite playground when making games
RMXP+XAS, not only will developers be able to toggle the platform on and off
Hackel has hooked me up with XAS 8-way directional shooting!
along with nifty scripts from Albertfish such as terrain tag / common events for pitfalls / lava / etc... and the XAS vehicle script... for like a yoshi or a tank like metal slug.... THE POSSIBILITIES ARE CRAZY STUPID! ^,^

What about a Contra-like game? (I think that's the game)

for RMXP, the feel is better than expected when running then jumping to shoot! even though(just to name a few) the enemy gravity, jumping up on ledges to dropping down from them, pouncing on top of enemies, life system, coin system, pitfalls, swinging vines, vehicles, ladders, drain pipes, punching blocks, hi attacks, low attacks, ducking, sliding, and rolling in the air while you jump needs to be worked out... this little monster of a project is coming along ^,^
essentially this project is really two that I've been working on combined... one the platform two project swtich
*this will be the first "XPLAT" project (XAS Platformer... haha splat!)
to introduce the XAS leader switch being used as one character toggling through a list of powers... I will elaborate on this more later on... excited!
here's a little sneek peek to the HUD arrangements, of course being in it's very early stages all things are subject to change (graphic wise)
